What to pack

For a winter trip to Чеджу, pack layers to handle the mild but variable temperatures. A light jacket or sweater will suffice for daytime, while evenings may require something warmer, especially in January and February. Waterproof footwear is useful for occasional rain, though heavy snow is rare.

Spring and autumn in Чеджу call for versatile clothing. From March to May, light layers work well, with a mix of short- and long-sleeve options for fluctuating temperatures. October and November are similar, though evenings can turn chilly, so a light scarf or jacket is advisable. Comfortable walking shoes are a must for exploring the island’s trails.

Summer in Чеджу demands lightweight, breathable fabrics to cope with heat and humidity. Pack quick-dry clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunscreen for protection against the strong sun. A compact umbrella or rain jacket is essential for sudden downpours, particularly in July and September. Don’t forget swimwear—August’s water temperatures reach +30 °C, perfect for beach days.
