What to pack

For a trip to Chirundu during the wet season, pack lightweight, quick-drying clothing, a rain jacket, and waterproof footwear. Mosquito protection is also wise, as standing water attracts insects.

In the dry season, layers are key—light clothing for the day and a sweater or light jacket for cooler evenings, especially in June and July. Sunscreen and a hat are essential year-round, as the sun in Chirundu is strong even in cooler months.
