Weather overview

Фурейдис enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, making it a pleasant destination year-round. Winters here are gentle, with temperatures rarely dropping below +9 °C at night, while summers bring warmth without extreme heat. The transition months—March through May and September through November—offer the most comfortable conditions for exploring the area.

Unlike many coastal towns, Фурейдис experiences very little rainfall, even in the cooler months. The sea remains inviting for much of the year, with water temperatures peaking in August at nearly +30 °C. If you prefer avoiding crowds while still enjoying warm weather, April or October might be the best times to visit.

Temperature

In Фурейдисе, temperatures follow a smooth seasonal curve. The coolest months, January and February, see daytime highs around +18 °C, while nights can dip to +9 °C. By April, the air warms to +24 °C, and the sea becomes noticeably more comfortable for swimming.

Precipitation

Фурейдис is one of the driest places in Israel, with virtually no rainfall recorded throughout the year. Even in the cooler months, you’re unlikely to encounter wet weather, which makes outdoor activities reliable no matter when you visit.

The lack of rain means clear skies dominate, though the absence of precipitation also means the landscape can appear dry, especially in late summer. If you’re used to lush greenery, the arid surroundings of Фурейдиса might feel unusual, but the coastal setting compensates with its own charm.

What to pack

For a trip to Фурейдис in winter (December–February), pack light layers for daytime and a light jacket for cooler evenings. Comfortable walking shoes are ideal for exploring, and sunglasses will help with the bright, low-angle sun. If you plan to swim, the sea is still warm enough in December at +22 °C, though fewer people venture in.

In spring (March–May), the weather is mild, so breathable clothing works well. A light sweater or shawl is useful for breezy evenings, and sunscreen is a must as the sun grows stronger. By May, the sea warms to +22 °C, making it perfect for swimming without the summer crowds.

Summer in Фурейдисе (June–August) calls for loose, lightweight clothing, a wide-brimmed hat, and plenty of sunscreen. The sea reaches its peak warmth in August at +29.9 °C, so swimwear is essential. If you’re sensitive to heat, plan outdoor activities for early morning or late afternoon. In autumn (September–November), the same summer clothes work early in the season, but by November, a light jacket may be needed for evenings.
