Weather overview
Supe Puerto enjoys a consistently dry climate year-round, with minimal rainfall and gentle shifts in temperature. The coastal location keeps conditions mild, though the Pacific Ocean moderates extremes. If you prefer steady weather without surprises, Supe Puerto offers a reliable backdrop for travel.
From January to December, the town sees little variation in humidity or storms, making it a low-stress destination. The biggest changes come from the ocean, which cools slightly in the middle of the year. Even then, the air remains comfortable for outdoor activities.
Temperature
Temperatures in Supe Puerto stay mild, with averages ranging from 16.7 °C in August and September to 24 °C in February. The warmest months—January through March—hover around 23–24 °C, while the coolest stretch, from June to September, sits closer to 17–18 °C.
Daily highs rarely exceed 27.2 °C (in February) or drop below 15.4 °C (in August and September). Nights are cooler but never cold, with lows around 16–21 °C depending on the season. The ocean’s influence keeps the air from feeling too hot or too chilly, even when temperatures shift.

Precipitation
Supe Puerto is one of the driest places in Peru, with almost no rain outside of February and March. Even then, rainfall is light—just 12.5 mm in February and 6.1 mm in March—and doesn’t disrupt travel plans. The rest of the year sees negligible precipitation, often less than 1 mm per month.
The lack of rain means clear skies dominate, though coastal fog can roll in during the cooler months. If you’re visiting between April and November, expect dry conditions with little need for rain gear. The rare showers in February are brief and unlikely to affect your stay.

What to pack
For a trip to Supe Puerto, pack light layers to adapt to the mild but shifting temperatures. In January through March, when highs reach 26–27 °C, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton will keep you comfortable. A light jacket or sweater is useful for evenings, especially from June to September, when temperatures dip to 15–17 °C.
Since rain is rare, a compact umbrella or waterproof shell is only necessary if visiting in February or March. Sunglasses and sunscreen are essential year-round, as the dry air and coastal sun can be strong even on cooler days. If you plan to swim, note that ocean temperatures drop to 15.9 °C in September and October, so a wetsuit might be helpful for longer dips.
