What to pack

For a trip to Виго in winter (December–February), waterproof layers are essential. A warm but breathable jacket, quick-dry clothing, and sturdy shoes will help navigate the frequent rain. Evenings can feel chilly, so a light sweater or fleece is useful, though heavy winter gear isn’t necessary.

Summer visitors (June–August) can pack light—linen or cotton clothing, swimwear, and a wide-brimmed hat for sunny days. A light rain jacket is still wise for occasional showers, especially in June or September. For spring and autumn, layers are key: a mix of short- and long-sleeve shirts, a light jacket, and a compact umbrella will cover the variable weather in Виго.
