Summers are hot, with temperatures in the forties, but the sea breeze helps. Winters are mild and sunny, unlike other parts of Israel. Locals are friendly, and many visitors return.

Unlike other Israeli cities, Eilat has no ancient ruins. Instead, it offers space and freedom. The desert, sea, and mountains create a landscape found nowhere else in the country. You could spend days underwater or lie on the beach, listening to the waves. Time slows here, and that might be why people start planning their next trip before they leave.
