What to pack

For a trip to Хинотега during the dry season, pack light layers for warm days and cooler evenings. A light jacket or sweater is useful for nights in January and February, when temperatures can drop to +16 °C. Comfortable walking shoes are a must, as the terrain can be uneven, and a hat or sunscreen will help with the strong highland sun.

If you’re visiting Хинотега in the rainy season, a compact umbrella or a waterproof jacket will come in handy for sudden downpours. Quick-drying clothing is ideal, as humidity can make fabrics feel damp. Even in the wetter months, temperatures remain mild, so heavy winter gear isn’t necessary. A pair of sturdy sandals or waterproof shoes will help navigate wet paths.
