Силхет enjoys a subtropical climate with distinct wet and dry periods. The year begins with mild and dry conditions, making January and February pleasant for travel. By March, temperatures rise, and the first signs of the rainy season appear in April. The heaviest rains arrive in June and last through September, shaping the city’s lush landscapes.

From October, the weather in Силхет gradually shifts back to drier days. November and December bring cooler, comfortable air, ideal for exploring the region without the intensity of summer heat or monsoon downpours. The contrast between the dry and wet seasons defines the rhythm of life here.

Temperatures in Силхет remain warm year-round, with the coolest months being January and December, when averages hover around 18.2 °C and 19.7 °C respectively. Nights can feel cooler, dropping to 13.7 °C in January, while daytime highs reach 25.2 °C.
