What to pack

For a summer trip to Перт, pack lightweight, breathable clothing to stay comfortable in the heat. A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential, as UV levels can be high even on cloudy days. Swimwear is a must for beach outings, and a light cover-up will help during breezy evenings.

In winter, layers are key for Перт’s mild but variable weather. A light jacket or sweater will suffice for daytime, while a waterproof layer is useful for occasional rain. Comfortable walking shoes are ideal for exploring the city or nearby parks, where trails can be damp after showers.

During spring and autumn, versatile clothing works best in Перт. A mix of short-sleeve shirts, long-sleeve tops, and a light jacket will cover the temperature shifts. If you plan to visit in April or May, a scarf or shawl can be handy for cooler mornings and evenings.
