This period offers the most predictable conditions for travel, though temperatures climb steadily toward the end of the dry season.

The rainy season in Мунду arrives in June and lasts through September, bringing heavy downpours and higher humidity. While the landscape transforms into lush greenery, travel can be more challenging due to occasional flooding and muddy roads. The months of April, May, and October serve as transitional periods, with Мунду gradually shifting between dry and wet conditions.

What to pack

For a trip to Мунду during the dry season, lightweight, breathable clothing is essential to cope with the heat. A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen will help protect against the strong sun, especially in March and April when temperatures peak. Evenings can be cooler, so a light jacket or long sleeves are useful for comfort.

If visiting Мунду during the rainy season, waterproof gear becomes a priority. A sturdy rain jacket, quick-drying clothes, and waterproof footwear will help navigate the downpours. Mosquito protection is also advisable, as standing water can increase insect activity. For the transitional months like May or October, layers are key—lightweight options for the day and something warmer for the cooler nights.
