Evenings remain warm, making it pleasant to stroll along the coast.

By October, Евпатория cools to +14.5 °C, though the sea retains some summer warmth at +19 °C. Rain becomes more frequent, especially in November, but the city’s calm rhythm and fewer crowds make it a quiet time to explore.

February is the driest, with just 20 mm of precipitation, while August sees only 13 mm, making it the sunniest and most predictable time for beachgoers.

Summer months are generally dry, with June, July, and September averaging 34 mm, 36 mm, and 21 mm of rain respectively. Even when rain does occur, it’s usually brief, and the sun returns quickly. December and January see moderate rainfall (35–46 mm), often accompanied by overcast skies, but snow is extremely rare in Евпатория.

Humidity is highest in January (82%) and December (81%), but the sea breeze helps keep the air from feeling oppressive. By August, humidity drops to 56%, making the +25.3 °C heat more bearable. If you prefer fewer crowds and don’t mind occasional rain, May and October offer a balance of mild weather and lower precipitation.

What to pack

For a winter trip to Евпатория, pack layers: a warm coat for evenings, but also lighter sweaters for daytime highs around +7.8 °C in January. Waterproof shoes are useful for rain, though snow is unlikely. A scarf and gloves might come in handy for windy days near the sea.

From May to September, light, breathable clothing is key. In July and August, temperatures can reach +30.6 °C, so bring swimwear, a hat, and sunscreen. Evenings are warm, but a light jacket or shawl is useful for breezy nights. For June or September, a mix of short sleeves and a light cardigan will cover the +18...+26 °C range.

In October and November, Евпатория calls for a transitional wardrobe: long sleeves, a waterproof jacket, and comfortable shoes for walking. The sea is still swimmable in early October at +19 °C, but by November, a wetsuit might be needed for those brave enough to take a dip. Don’t forget sunglasses—even in cooler months, the sun can be bright.
