Weather overview

Дхадар lies in a region where the climate shifts sharply between dry and wet periods. From November to April, the weather remains mostly dry, with mild to warm days and cool nights. By May, temperatures rise noticeably, and the heat lingers until September, though the peak of summer in June and July can feel intense, especially around midday.

The monsoon season arrives in Дхадар in July and lasts through August, bringing most of the year’s rainfall. These months see sudden downpours, though they don’t last long. By September, the rains taper off, and the air becomes drier again, making October a pleasant time to visit before the cooler months set in.

What to pack

For a trip to Дхадар in the cooler months of November to February, pack light layers for daytime warmth and a jacket or sweater for the evenings, when temperatures can dip to 7.7 °C. A scarf or shawl will help with the occasional breeze, while sunglasses and a hat are useful for the bright, sunny days.

Visiting Дхадар in May or June requires loose, breathable clothing to cope with the heat, which can exceed 40 °C. A wide-brimmed hat, high-SPF sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle are essential. If traveling during the monsoon in July or August, a compact umbrella or a light rain jacket will come in handy, though the rains are usually brief.

For September or October, lightweight, long-sleeved shirts and pants will protect against the sun while keeping you comfortable as the heat lingers. Comfortable walking shoes are a good idea year-round, as Дхадар’s terrain can be uneven, and the dry climate means dust is often in the air.
