Асунсьон enjoys a subtropical climate with distinct wet and dry periods. The warmest months stretch from November to March, when daytime temperatures often climb above +30 °C, while nights remain mild. The cooler season arrives in May and lasts through August, bringing more comfortable +18...+25 °C days and cooler evenings around +13...+17 °C.

Rainfall in Асунсьон follows a clear pattern: heavy downpours are common in January, April, and October–December, while July and August are the driest months. Even during the wet season, rain rarely lasts all day, but sudden showers can interrupt outdoor plans. The dry season offers the most predictable weather for exploring the city.
